Livestream giveaway wheel: draw a winner on camera

Paste the names from chat, share your screen, and spin. Viewers see the whole list on the wheel before you press, which is what makes the result hard to dispute.

Every stream has someone in chat saying the draw was decided in advance. Promising otherwise does not work; showing the whole thing does. The list is on screen, the spin happens live, and the results tab keeps the order the names came out in. The sample list holds twelve names, so replace it with the entrants from tonight's stream.

How do I run a giveaway draw on stream?

Copy the entrants into the bulk box, share the browser window with your stream, and spin. Turn on remove after win when one session hands out more than one prize.

  1. Paste the entrants from chat

Filter for valid entries, then paste one name per line. The wheel takes up to 1,000 names.

  2. Share the screen before you spin

Let viewers see the full list and the entry count first, then press spin.

  3. Read the winner and keep the log

The results tab records every draw in order. Copy it into the video description or a pinned comment.

Livestream giveaway questions

How do I prove I did not respin until my friend won?

Spin live and do not cut the recording. Show the full list before you press, spin once, read the result straight away, and leave the results tab up for the rest of the stream. The fairness page covers where the number behind the spin comes from.

How do I hand out several prizes without repeating a winner?

Open advanced settings and set after win to remove. The name that just won leaves the wheel, so later draws only offer people who have not won yet, and viewers watch the wheel shrink as it happens.

Can regulars get a better chance?

Yes, weights in advanced settings let some names carry more than one share. If you use them, say so before the draw, because weights are not printed on the wheel and viewers will only see slices of different widths.
