Privacy policy

Overview
This policy explains what SpinWheelzy collects when you use the wheel tools and what happens to it. The short version: your wheel entries stay in your browser unless you create an account and save them, and we never sell personal data.
Data we collect
The tools work without an account, so most visits collect nothing beyond the standard server logs our hosting provider keeps for security and uptime. When you create an account or save a wheel we store:
- Your email address, display name and a hashed password, used only to sign you in and to send password reset email.
- Wheels you save: the name, entries, colours, weights and settings.
- Whether a wheel is public, its category, and the display name shown as its author in the gallery.
How we use data
Saved wheels load when you sign in from any device. Your email is used for password reset and essential account notices only; there is no marketing email. Public wheels show your display name to visitors, and unpublishing removes them from the gallery immediately.
Data kept in your browser
Without an account, the tool keeps your current wheel, its settings and recent results in this browser's local storage so a reload does not lose them. Your cookie choice is stored the same way. Clearing site data removes all of it.
Cookies and ads
Signing in sets a session cookie; nothing else is needed for the tools to work. SpinWheelzy plans to show advertising through Google AdSense. When ads are enabled, Google uses cookies to measure and, where allowed, personalise them, and visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland see a consent choice before any ad script loads.
- Essential: the session cookie that keeps you signed in.
- Advertising: loaded only after consent where consent is required. You can change your choice any time from the cookie settings link in the footer.
- You can block non-essential cookies in your browser without losing any tool feature.
Your rights
You can delete your account yourself from the dashboard; this removes your saved wheels, including public ones, immediately. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Vietnam you may also ask for access to, correction of, or a copy of your data by email, and we answer within 30 days.
