Yes or no wheel: spin for a fair answer in seconds

Stuck between two options? Hand the call to the wheel. Yes and no are already set, so one tap gives you a 50/50 answer you did not have to argue about.

Another tab or device saved this wheel after you opened it. Load that version, or replace it with what is on screen.

How does the yes or no wheel work?

The yes or no wheel is a two-segment spinner: each spin draws one random number, lands on yes or no with equal probability, and shows the answer in a popup. Nothing to configure, just spin.

  1. Ask your question

Say it out loud or keep it in your head. The wheel does not need to know it.

  2. Tap the wheel or press space

Yes and no are locked in place, so there is no list to edit. The wheel spins for about five seconds.

  3. Take the answer under the pointer

The popup confirms yes or no. Spin again for a best of three if you need a tiebreaker; the results tab keeps count.

Why use this wheel for quick decisions

It replaces a coin flip with something you can see, check and share: equal halves, a cryptographic random source, and no account or app in the way.

  • Fifty fifty odds

Two equal segments mean yes and no each win half the time over many spins.

  • Verifiably random

Every spin draws from crypto.getRandomValues in your browser, not from a server.

  • No sign-up, no setup

The two entries are preset. Open the page and spin.

  • Works on any device

Phones, tablets and desktops run the same wheel, with fullscreen for a bigger moment.

The questions below are the ones people ask about yes or no wheels most often.

Yes or no wheel questions

Is this yes or no wheel really random?

Yes. Each spin takes a number from crypto.getRandomValues, the same source browsers use for security work, and the two halves are exactly equal, so both answers have the same chance on every spin.

Can I change yes and no to other words?

Not on this page, the two entries are locked so the odds stay 50/50. Open the main spin wheel, type any two or more options, and save or share that wheel instead.

Is there a maybe option?

Not here. Maybe turns the wheel into a three-way draw, so it belongs on the main wheel: add yes, no and maybe as three entries and spin there.

Does the wheel remember my answers?

Your results stay in the results tab during your visit, and nothing is uploaded. The yes or no wheel never needs an account.

Is the yes or no wheel free?

Yes, with no spin limit. Ads on the page keep it free, and they never sit next to the wheel.

Built to be trusted

The yes or no wheel runs in your browser. Nothing is stored unless you sign in and save a wheel, connections use HTTPS, and every answer comes from crypto.getRandomValues. Read the privacy policy and terms for the details.
