Click the wheel or press space to spin
Company event prize draw wheel for the whole room
The prizes sit on the wheel. Each person comes up and spins once, and whatever the pointer stops on is what they take home.
A box of paper slips leaves everyone past the third row unable to see anything, and someone always wonders how the slips were folded. On a projector the wheel puts the whole draw in front of the room. The sample wheel carries twelve slices covering prize tiers and one better luck next time. Rewrite them to match what your team is actually giving away.
How do I run a prize draw at an event?
Give each prize its own slice, go fullscreen, and call people up one at a time to spin. Delete a slice as soon as a one-off prize has been won.
- Enter your prize list
One slice per prize. Where a tier has several winners, add that many identical slices.
- Put it on the big screen
Use the fullscreen button so the room reads the result at the same moment the spinner does.
- Remove prizes as they go
Delete the slice for a one-off prize such as the top one, so later spins cannot land on it again.
Company event draw questions
There is only one top prize, how do I stop it coming up twice?
Delete the slice the moment it is won, or switch on remove after win if every prize is a one-off. Where a tier has several winners, the tidier way is to add one slice per available prize and delete them as they go.
What about colleagues joining remotely?
Flip the wheel round: put the staff list on it and spin to pick a person for each prize. That version works on a video call as well, as long as you share the screen so everyone sees the list before the spin.
Is there a record of who won what?
The results tab keeps the draws in order until you clear them or leave the page, and the copy button hands you the whole list. Paste it into the event notes or the company chat on the night and the record is done.
